FIFA chosen Morocco to host Club World Cup in February 2023

 
The hosting rights for the 2025 Club World Cup, which will include 32 teams, were awarded to Morocco by FIFA in February.
 
The most recent edition of the tournament was held in the UAE in February 2022 and was won by the English football club, Chelsea.
 
European champion Real Madrid, South American champion Flamengo and Seattle Sounders, the first CONCACAF Champions League winner from the United States, will play in the traditional seven-team tournament from Feb. 1-11.

Cristiano Ronaldo joins Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal`s national football team, has signed a 20-year contract with Saudi Arabia`s Al Nassr club. The club referred to the deal as "history in the making" in a tweet.

 

The club said it would inspire their league, nation, and future generations, boys and girls, to be the best version of themselves. The 37-year-old Ronaldo said he is eager to experience a new football league in a different country.

 

 

The Portugal captain was free after leaving Manchester United following a controversial interview in which he had criticised the club.
